When Alborosie talks about humbleness (interview), he simply draws from his own experience.   Having sold all of his possessions in Italy, he took the leap to Kingston, Jamaica in 2001 to take his shot at reggae fame.  As he took the stage in Denver, far from both Kingston and Italy, this past weekend, it seems the road has opened up quite nicely for the immensely talented artist from Kingston by way of Sicily.

Making his first trip through the United States, Alborosie has captured both the interest and imagination of reggae fans everywhere.  A tour to celebrate the release of Alborosie’s second full length album,  the critically acclaimed  “Escape from Babylon to the Kingdom of Zion,”  his latest tour has been remarkably successful for an artist seeking to make an impression.
